I’ve owned this helmet for a pretty much a year now, and have very couple of complaints. I really lost the original one I had some weeks ago and right after going back towards the shop to determine what else they provided. I got exactly the same helmet once more for the reason that I still liked it better than the other method helmets that had the drop-down sun visor. The potential to move the visor to one of 3 locations is pretty handy too.

It definitely desires one extra position exactly where it can act like the dark band in the top of a vehicle windshield – far adequate down to shade the eyes, but not so far down you happen to be basically searching via it. It’s a great helmet, the flip-up chin bar functions flawlessly, the sun shade is usually a good add-on as well as the ventilation is outstanding. All in all a worthy successor to the original Symax.

I’ve had one issue – the plastic lever that opens the flip-top broke lately when I was opening the helmet. HJC buyer service was superb. First they sent me the replacement element for free. Then they answered my emails promptly and helpfully when I required help figuring out how to get inside the chin section to replace the portion. One other thing.

I’ve noticed that at instances the chin bar will click when closing it, but isn’t fully locked in place, and wants an added tug (which causes a second click) to fully secure it. This just isn’t happening now that I’ve replaced the chin bar, so my guess is the fact that it was caused by a loose screw that attached the chin bar, causing one side to close and click slightly just before the other side. I’d give this helmet 4 and also a half stars (but you can find no half-star rating increments available with Amazon).

This is a great helmet for not a lot of money. Ideal bang for the buck. It is vented so it assists preserve the head cool and also the padding is quite comfortable.

These helmets appear to run massive, order a size down. After measuring my head exactly per the HJC recommendation I ordered the suitable size, 24″ head diameter Extra Significant. But following wearing the helmet a bit I observed it was a little too big and moved about with wind path adjustments at highway speeds, and I also had loads of wind coming in around the visor. Regrettably by the time I realized this helmet was too big I had already thrown the packaging away so I was unable to return it. I’ve one more helmet which is a regular size Significant and it fits appropriately. My new helmet is now for sale following just a handful of uses.

It’s okay for the price. One of the outside visor snaps comes undone at the slightest push, but wearing it as a passenger on my husband’s bike, the helmet is comfy and much less intrusive than a full face helmet. I should have gotten the medium, but I pulled the chin strap tightly and that assists. I will be purchasing a snap type closure to replace the D-rings.

I adore my helmet. It looks awesome and feels solid. I like that it has a padded protection that covers the ears and back of the neck that can be taken off by unzipping. There is also a detachable visor that snaps on the front. I use it for when I ride my moped and if I tilt my head down, it cuts the wind so it is not blowing as much in my eyes and face. It is very comfy and not too heavy. It fits perfectly in the storage compartment under my moped seat, which is great in the event you do not want it to get stolen or have to carry it wherever you are going.

This mich2000 is really light and comfort but the only downside about this helmet is the chin straps.It seem to break effortlessly so i suggest to obtain a better replacement.Should you don’t want the heavy fiberglass version you ought to get this one.

I ordered this helmet for its design and the fact it is DOT approved for California highways. Great for putt-ing around town, but also does well at highway speeds. Get that classic look and a great value. Has d-rings for fastening, but a trip to the local motorcycle shop I install quick release clips.

I totally dig this helmet. It’s got a cool shape and it’s sturdy. I didn’t want one of those “novelty” helmets. I admit that it’s a little bigger on your head than a novelty helmet would be, but I chock it up to the fact that it’s actually a DOT certified helmet. Definitely worth the purchase.

This matt german style helmet is for my daughters xmas gift to go with the new bike and sidecar she swapped the Harley for. Cannot fault Jafrum is any way, they sent 2 helmets by mistake and to save me the trouble of returning extra helmet they gave it her as a goodwill xmas gift…. what other firm would do this. I shall recommend the to all I know for the excellent products ans service, thanks again Jafrum.

As if riding a 1947 Vespa in olive-drab green weren’t enough, I also wear this helmet. My roommate was worried I’d get beaten up; I thought people would be amused. I was right. It’s a good-looking helmet and very well-made. It’s also fairly light weight considering how substantial it is. A word of warning, however — it is much thicker than what you might expect — think Darth Vader-sized as opposed to trim barely-bigger-than-your-head like you see in the movies. I see that someone hasn’t received what they ordered from Jafrum, and I feel bad for them. I received it faster than I expected, actually, ready to go the moment it came out of the box.
